Privacy policy

Short version: this website has no accounts, no cookies and no ads, and it doesn't follow you around the internet. It counts visits anonymously so I know which pages are useful. When you contact me, your message goes straight to my email or WhatsApp, and I only use it to reply to you.

Who I am

TuboWebDev is the web design and development studio of Dominic (Tubo) Binotubo, based in Lagos, Nigeria. For anything about your information, email tubowebdev@gmail.com.

Information you send me

The contact form, price estimator and WhatsApp buttons don't send anything to this website. They open your own email app or WhatsApp with a message ready to send, and nothing leaves your device until you press send.

If you do send a message, I receive what you wrote in it, such as your name, business, country, project details and budget, along with your email address or phone number. I use this only to reply, prepare a quote and work on your project. I never sell it or share it for marketing.

I keep project conversations for as long as we're working together and for a reasonable time afterwards for support, accounting and legal records. Ask me any time to delete them.

What's stored on your device

The site doesn't use cookies. It saves two small preferences in your own browser so it works the way you chose, and never sends them to me:

• Your country (tubo-country): remembers the country you picked so prices show in your currency.
• A package choice (tubo-plan): briefly remembers which package you clicked so the contact form can mention it. It disappears when you close the tab.

You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.

Other services

Everything on this site, including fonts, animations and videos, is served from this website itself. No advertising services are loaded.

Visitor statistics. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't build a profile of you and doesn't follow you to other websites. It records basic, anonymous information about each visit: the page viewed, the website you came from, your general country, your browser and device type, and how fast the page loaded. I only see totals, not individual people. Cloudflare's own privacy policy applies to this information.

If you click a link to WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Snapchat or Google, you leave this site and that company's own privacy policy applies.

Like every website, the hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and running.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023, the EU and UK GDPR, and similar laws give you the right to ask what information I hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to how it's used. Email tubowebdev@gmail.com and I'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the date at the top.
